7 Days to go!!!

I can't believe that it's almost here! I've been counting down for so long! I mentioned earlier about our Disney Trip. We stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside Resort. It was fantastic. We had a very lively cast member named Scott check us in. He got us a view of the river. The pool was great. If I were to rank the pools at the Disney Resorts, here is how they would go (all resorts, including those I haven't stayed in yet):

1. Beach Club
2. Boardwalk
3. Polynesian

Moderate: Caribbean Beach and Port Orleans Riverside are tied! (Both awesome)

Only thing was, on our 3 day trip there wasn't enough time to ride on the water slide or take the boat to Downtown Disney. But that shall be corrected on a future trip.

So, back to the trip. The American Idol Experience!!!!! WAS AMAZING! The contestants were so good and the judges were great. The host was pretty good, I mean he's no Seacrest but decent. We saw the show twice. Once in the afternoon and then we saw the finale show in the evening. I enjoyed it immensly and I can't wait to go back!

We also saw the High School Musical Show. Not what I expected at all!!!! It was like a half done parade. To say the least, I was disappointed but I mean it is what it is. Anywho.... the best part of the trip (and the main purpose) was TYPHOON LAGOON!

Let me just say that Typhoon Lagoon was THIIIIIIIS much better, cooler, and more awesome than Blizzard Beach. I cannot WAIT to return to Typhoon Lagoon. It was way more kid friendly and family friendly. Additionally, the rides were more my speed. I loved loved it! Only thing was, we couldn't find chairs in convenient locations.

It's funny because when we went to Disney in July 06, we said we'd never go back in July. But we did. And I suggest that if you go in July, GO TO A WATERPARK!

OK, that's the vacation planner slash excited Disney-phile coming out! 7 more days until I check in. We plan on driving up on Sunday and getting there early on Monday. And I have a roommate now! I hope everything works out well. I have high hopes.

For now, good night and have a pleasant tomorrow:)

Roommate and 20 days left

Oh hello there readers. I haven't updated this in awhile due to life taking over the last month of my life. My family took a 2.5 day trip to Disney last week which was nice but tainted by the loss of my camera :(. Anyway, I had to reset my roommate notification (awkward story) so now I'm on the hunt for a roommate. The problem is, however, that I only have 20 days left. So in the words of Ron Weasley, "All the good ones will have gone!"

Ah, we shall see. For now, this is goodnight and adieu.

Getting Crafty

Over the last few weeks, I've been in the in-between stage. It's finally sinking in that college is over but at the same time, it just feels like summer break at home. So I guess that will pass soon.

I finished my jewelry box craft. As soon as I put on the finishing touches, I'll post pics (It's pretty, trust me!)

I've done my Disney research, as I have watched all of the vlogs I could, and read all of the blogs that exist. All that's left is the journey to Orlando, oh and 5 and half weeks! Can't wait!

Until next time....

Baby I know your hurting
Right now you feel like you could never love again
Now all I ask is for a chance
To prove that I love you

Fun Fact of the Week: Yes, the Backstreet Boys are back in the studio.

Hmmm, nothing new, really...

So, nothing particularly new going on. A few days ago, I scrubbed the bathroom floor as I sang "Sing Sweet Nightingale." What can I say, I was channeling Cinderella! Right here, right now, I'm just watching the High School Musical/ High School Musical 2 sing-along. It's hot! I've been working on some crafts this week.

Fun Fact of the week: I made a jewelry box with a cardboard box, fabric, and my glue gun. That's all for one, I mean now!

Discovering the Discounts and the Disney Look

All week, I've been researching the Disney Look. I've gotten so much help from Brenna's vlog and blog (Thanks so much!). I'm glad I can wear stud earrings because, well if you know me, you'll know that I can't leave the house without earrings!

I still have some roommate questions that I'm hoping I can find the answers to. I got my notification about my roommate but I wonder when we get the choice about the number of bedrooms in our apartment.

Scenario: I want to live in a 3 bedroom, and my roommate wants to live in a 2 bedroom. How will that work out?

In other news, I have found dozens of Disney blogs! I'm very excited and I think this experience will be different than college. Can't put my finger on it. But I can't wait.

Things I look forward to:

1. Disney College Program Winter Formal!!!!

2. At the Traditions orientation day, the game where you get in a circle and name all of the Disney Characters that you can think of.

3. Pool Parties (I hope there is another Pirate Themed Pool Party)

4. My cast member discount at the Disney Resorts!

5. Orlando area discounts!

6. Christmas at Disney World!

7. New Year's at Disney World!

8. My birthday at Disney World!

9. Getting paid to be at Disney World!

10. Meeting other people who love Disney World as much as I do!

11. Spending my day off at the Magic Kingdom or shopping at an Orlando outlet mall

Fun Fact of the Week: I just got Joss Stone's Album "Introducing Joss Stone." I know it came out in 2007 but I'm just behind the times. It is amazing:)

Until next time... Check out this blog about Emily's Disney Wedding.
1. The cake is precious
2. The Bridesmaids dresses are BEAUTIFUL
3. Boardwalk, hmm never thought of that before

Have a Magical Day and a Golden Afternoon!

The beginning of my magic carpet ride

After experimenting with LiveJournal (check out my previous blog), I decided to go with Blogger to document my Disney Experience. Let me recap.

In August, I'll be beginning my journey in the Disney College Program. I will be a Vacation Planner! I've been looking forward to this for years and I can't believe that it is approaching.

MY TO DO LIST
Make a list of things I need to get for Disney!
Look for shoes
Look for "Disney appropriate" earrings
Spend all day on the Disney Message Boards
Learn all the lyrics to Kelly Clarkson's new album
Post pictures from last semester on facebook
Watch season 3 of 7th Heaven

About me
Trips to Disneyland: Growing up in California, I've been to Disneyland more times than I can count.

Trips to Disney World: Over 10. My sister and I have vowed to stay at every Disney Resort in the World. At first, it was "Disney" World, but we might hit up Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong, and Tokyo as we get older (We've gotten 2 out of 3 at Disneyland, and 5 out of 23 at Disney World)

College: GW (yea, something happens there!)

In the 6th grade, I was voted "Funniest Girl on Drill Team" - yea, I can be funny.

Well, I'm excited to begin. I'll leave you tonight with a little night magic!
