7 Days to go!!!

I can't believe that it's almost here! I've been counting down for so long! I mentioned earlier about our Disney Trip. We stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside Resort. It was fantastic. We had a very lively cast member named Scott check us in. He got us a view of the river. The pool was great. If I were to rank the pools at the Disney Resorts, here is how they would go (all resorts, including those I haven't stayed in yet):

1. Beach Club
2. Boardwalk
3. Polynesian

Moderate: Caribbean Beach and Port Orleans Riverside are tied! (Both awesome)

Only thing was, on our 3 day trip there wasn't enough time to ride on the water slide or take the boat to Downtown Disney. But that shall be corrected on a future trip.

So, back to the trip. The American Idol Experience!!!!! WAS AMAZING! The contestants were so good and the judges were great. The host was pretty good, I mean he's no Seacrest but decent. We saw the show twice. Once in the afternoon and then we saw the finale show in the evening. I enjoyed it immensly and I can't wait to go back!

We also saw the High School Musical Show. Not what I expected at all!!!! It was like a half done parade. To say the least, I was disappointed but I mean it is what it is. Anywho.... the best part of the trip (and the main purpose) was TYPHOON LAGOON!

Let me just say that Typhoon Lagoon was THIIIIIIIS much better, cooler, and more awesome than Blizzard Beach. I cannot WAIT to return to Typhoon Lagoon. It was way more kid friendly and family friendly. Additionally, the rides were more my speed. I loved loved it! Only thing was, we couldn't find chairs in convenient locations.

It's funny because when we went to Disney in July 06, we said we'd never go back in July. But we did. And I suggest that if you go in July, GO TO A WATERPARK!

OK, that's the vacation planner slash excited Disney-phile coming out! 7 more days until I check in. We plan on driving up on Sunday and getting there early on Monday. And I have a roommate now! I hope everything works out well. I have high hopes.

For now, good night and have a pleasant tomorrow:)
